"cairde" means "friendship, relation" in Irish Gaelic.

It may be that people are using this in place of "caraid", which is
"friend", i.e. they are addressing each other by their relation to
the other person rather than by the (relational) title of the other
person.
The pronunciation is pretty straight forward. "A chairde"
would be roughly "uh KHAR-uh-juh". The "kh" is the guttural sound
you find in "loch". The unstressed vowels are (as usual in Gaelic)
reduced to schwa, and there is a little "helping" syllable inserted
between "r" and "d". (This "helping" syllable is commonly inserted
between a liquid and a stop. Cf. the modern Anglo-Irish "film",
pronounced "FIL-um".)
It suddenly occurs to me that "a chairde" is also analysable as "to
friendship", so.... FRIENDS....HIP.......................MMM nevermind... Enjoy the photo's !!
